If your phone is connected to another network, say, mobile broadband, you will not be able to cast.

2. Make sure Anyview Cast is activated on your TV

Anyview Cast must be activated on your TV for you to stream content from your device. With some TV models, the feature is activated automatically.

However, other TVs might require you to activate the feature manually, which could be the issue.

To activate Anyview Cast:

  • Press the Home button on your TV and select Settings.
  • Next, go to System, then Network.
  • Under Network Settings, make sure Anyview Stream is set to on.

With Anyview Stream activated, you can go to your Hisense TV input menu and select Anyview Cast to start streaming.

3. Reset your phone

Are you unable to cast iPhone or Android on Hisense using Anyview?

The problem could likely be on your phone. Minor issues, such as glitches in the phone’s software or settings, can interfere with the casting or even connecting the phone to your TV.

Fortunately, you can easily resolve most of these minor issues by rebooting your phone. However, if you still have trouble casting after rebooting, you can try resetting the network settings or even performing a factory reset.

If the solutions above fail, you can try switching to another mobile device. However, if other devices don’t work, the problem lies somewhere else, like your Wi-Fi network or TV.

4. Reset your router

wireless router

As already stated, your Hisense TV and smartphone must be on the same network for the casting to work.

No internet connection is necessary, as both devices only need to connect to each other wirelessly. However, it is possible to have glitches in your router, which interfere with the communication,  making casting impossible.

Nonetheless, such glitches are minor, and you can fix them by rebooting your router. You can reboot it using the hard reset button (located at the back panel of most routers).

Alternatively, you can power cycle it (disconnect it from power for about 60 seconds or so, then power it back on).

5. Reset your TV

Using Anyview Cast might also be problematic if there are issues with your TV. Such issues might include glitches in the network settings, bugs in the software or firmware, and glitches with the Anyview Cast, among others.

To fix these issues, you can try rebooting the TV, which can help to fix most minor glitches in the casting app, firmware, or even the settings.
