In recent years, Smart TVs have become streaming hubs, offering a variety of entertainment options under one platform. Hisense smart TV platform, VIDAA OS, has not been left behind, and is currently one of the top Smart TV ecosystems where you can enjoy quality content.
As of 2026, VIDAA OS has undergone a major overhaul, starting with rebranding its name to V Home OS. The OS has also undergone major design changes, as well as an updated content lineup, with new channels and streaming apps added to the platform.

Key user interface and design updates
One of the key design changes made by Hisense for its VIDAA OS is rebranding it to V Home OS. The move to rebrand was announced during the CEC 2026 tech event.
The new V Home OS now features a unified smart home control hub, with ConnectLife integration, which allows users to control smart home appliances directly from their TV.
Hisense has also integrated Microsoft Copilot into the V Home OS. This move will offer users advanced AI services on their TV screens, while also allowing for improved user experience through features such as AI-powered personalization and content discovery.
Other design changes Hisense has made to its VIDAA OS include Xbox cloud gaming, a cleaner user interface with improved performance, a customizable home screen, enhanced smart hub navigation, and dynamic layouts with aggregated content rows.

Updated channel lineup and content
In addition to giving its Smart OS a fresh look, Hisense has also made major updates to the VIDAA OS content lineup. Currently, the Smart OS features hundreds of free, Live TV channels, curated by each country.
In addition, over the past several months, Hisense has added new channels in countries like India, Israel, New Zealand, Europe, and Latin America, among several other countries and regions.
Hisense V Home OS’s growing lineup of free channels continues to offer users across the world access to affordable entertainment. It has also positioned the Hisense Smart TV ecosystem as a major streaming platform.
However, it is not just channels that Hisense has added to its redesigned VIDAA OS. The TV brand has been gradually adding streaming apps to the V Home OS, allowing users to unlock more entertainment options.

Some of the recent app additions include the Play App, launched in Belgium, ManoramaMAX, a Malayalam content app, now available globally, TV 360 (Peru), and Dailymotion (globally).
The V Home OS is also home to a myriad of other apps, including major global apps like YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+, sports apps like FIFA, NBA League Pass, and UEFA TV, entertainment apps like Viu, Pluto TV, and Plex, and many more.
