  1. For over an hour I have been trying to activate my Hulu account on my Roku so I can watch it on my tv. OMG…what a pain. It is still not activated and I am ready to cancel my subscription. It may be the best “streaming experience” ever but how will I ever know if I cant get it activated.

  2. The activation process for a smart tv sucks! Following the instructions to the letter and getting an activation code (VGH7MET) and then going to http://www.hulu.com/activate, all I get is a blank screen. When I phoned customer support, the attendant was happy to get me set up for $19+ and when I complained about that I got a special discount of $9+. A helluva way to run a business.

    • Hi Jim!
I know that your comment is from several months ago. However, next time you type in your website, make sure that it has the s (for secure site) after the http. It should be https:// and whatever the rest of the website name is. If it doesn’t have the “s” at the end, then it isn’t a secure site. I did that as well trying to set up Netflix or another app and I got the wrong website and the fake Netflix site was trying to sell me technical help for $99, whenever I knew that it was free to activate the account. It was very frustrating to say the least.
