Disney is making it more effortless for you, if you use Hulu, to feel at home when using its app.
This is through linking your profiles to Disney+.

To do so, just open Disney+ on a supported device. Sign in with the same email and password you use for Hulu, and that is it.
Step-by-step process on how to link Hulu to Disney+
Here are the full details and procedure:
- Open Disney’s app: This could be on your phone, tablet, TV, or streaming device. You can also access via their website in a browser.
- Sign in: Use the same email address and password you use for Hulu. This is the essential part, as Disney uses that login to connect your accounts.
- Look for the linking message: If your account is eligible, the platform should show you a prompt. It will be asking if you want to link your Hulu profile.
- Choose “Link Profiles.”: Tap or click the button that says Link Profiles.
- Pick the Hulu you want to use: The app will show the Hulu profiles available on your account. Choose the one you want connected to your Disney+.
- Confirm your choice: Review the profile you selected, then confirm. This finishes the linking process.
What changes when you link your profile
The main shift is personalization. After you link the two, Disney+ will pull in your Hulu watch history. The application will also sync with your recommendations. On top of that, you already have Hulu titles that show in the For You tab on the Disney+ home screen.
You only need to link your Hulu profile once. After that, your Hulu activity should keep syncing to Disney+.
You could also personalize your linked Disney+ profile with Hulu-themed avatars.
That is a smaller feature, but it shows what Disney is trying to do here. This is not only about putting Hulu shows inside Disney+. It is about making Disney+ feel more like a combined Disney and Hulu home for bundle users.
Who can use it right now?
This rollout is not for everyone at once. Disney says profile linking for 18+ Hulu profiles is becoming available to eligible Disney+, Hulu Bundle and Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Bundle subscribers in the coming days, with a wider rollout to all bundle subscribers later this year.
There is another important detail. If you have an eligible Hulu subscription but do not have Disney+, you can still sign in to Disney+ with the same MyDisney login used for Hulu and stream Hulu content there at no extra cost or subscription change.
The Hulu app is not dying
This update does not suggest your Hulu app is vanishing right now or in the near future.
You will continue to have access to the standalone Hulu app if you prefer to subscribe to it.
