Netflix progress bar won’t go away! Solved

Method #1: Restart your browser or app

If the problem is brought about by the cache in your browser or Netflix app, restarting will free up some memory and allow Netflix to perform optimally.

When you close your browser, make sure that it doesn’t appear on the task manager. Go to Task Manager > Apps/Background Processes and close any instances of the browser.

If you are using an app, make sure it isn’t running in the background on the device you are using. Wait for a minute and restart the app or browser and play a video on Netflix.

Method #2: Stop incompatible apps or plugins

This issue could be brought about by an incompatible plugin on your browser or app on your mobile device.

If you are using a browser, go to extensions and disable all of them before you reload Netflix. On the other hand, if you are using a mobile device, make sure to close all the other apps running in the background first.
