How to get Disney Plus with Verizon

If you are a Verizon customer, you can get up to one year of free streaming on Disney+. The new streaming service from Disney allows users to stream classic shows and exclusive originals.

But to enjoy the service, you must be a Verizon Unlimited wireless or Verizon Fios Home Internet subscriber.

For current multi-year or annual Disney Plus subscribers, the Disney+ for Verizon users deal means that both services will pause your subscription during the 12 months.

You will then resume through Disney at the end of the promotional period.

When the 12-month period expires, your Disney+ subscription will auto-renew at $6.99 per month. Also, Verizon will charge you a bill per month unless you cancel the service.

But 12 months is enough to watch free content that will include all of the theatrically-released movies by Disney as well as all episodes of shows like Star Wars and The Simpsons.

If you are using Verizon wireless and you have not enrolled for any of the unlimited qualifying plans, follow the steps below to get Disney+.

  • Go to the Verizon and Disney+ sign up page
  • Click on Get Started
  • You will see the heading titled Change your Plan to Unlimited
  • Click on Change your Plan
  • Sign in using your username and password
  • Choose any of the unlimited wireless plans offered by Verizon

Once you switch to your preferred unlimited wireless plan, go back to the Verizon and Disney+ sign up page. You will have to sign up so that you can enroll to get Disney Plus for free.

Note that you will first have to register for a Disney+ account separately through the Disney+ website. The service offers a free 7-day trial, meaning that you will not pay anything when registering. After creating the Disney+ account, you will have to add it to your Verizon account.

Once everything is in order, you will have a 12-month free and unlimited access to the streaming service. It will only stop when you either remove Disney Plus or cancel the Verizon Unlimited plan from your account.

But to enjoy it, you must be a Verizon Unlimited subscriber.
