Using a Roku Streamstick plus I just found that I could add the ESPN app to my available options. Did so and entered my code and found that I am now watching ESPN via Xfinity, which is my Internet provider. During the entire sign up process there was absolutely no indication of a charge for using the ESPN app.
I just checked my subscriptions and trials and found that I have none that are active. At this point I have no idea whether there will be an added Xfinity charge, if there is a 7 day trial or what the billing situation is or is not.
I will log onto Xfinity to see if there is something there and, if necessary visit the Xfinity store.
Roky REALLY needs to make clear what charges may or may not apply during the sign up process.
this sucks. I have the espn channel on my TCL Roku TV, it runs off the internet. Neither TCL or internet extensions show up on the selection lists. I paid for the UFC Mastival/Diaz fight yesterday and the payment was confirmed on the TV screen (Roku Pay)
I can’t get into the prelims after an hour of trying. I have tried by phone and computer my Roku TV and my internet provider are not in the listed options.
I as well have the same problem I have Hi-Speed internet supplied by a 3rd. party
provider Pocket I Net it is “Line of Site” delivery, received by a 8-inch dish aimed in the proper direction to allow me to get 2Mbs. of Rec. out in the middle of nowhere 15 miles or more away from me. ‘I love it’ But you and your system have been paid and we have no ‘service’ so we did Not get to Watch Seattle Play Minnesota on ” MNF and
Win” and yes we had it set on ESPN+ “Signed” Not Happy with Your Lack of “””SERVICE””” and our system is ROKU 1 TV is TCL, and second set is RCA / with
