Pat James DeMentri joined QVC as a program host in 1987. She was one of the pioneer hosts for the home shopping channel, joining the network less than a year after it launched.
The first item DeMentri sold was an air purifier. Since then, she has become one of the top QVC on-air hosts, with product expertise spanning beauty, cosmetics, fashion, and home and gardening.
Pat DeMentri also hosts and appears on several on-air segments, including Q the Real Talk, Susan Graver Style, and Sunday Your Way with Pat. Additionally, she is a QVC ambassador, serving as a key figure in the network’s Age of Possibility initiative and the Over 50 & Fabulous community.

DeMentri was previously married to Vince DeMentri, an American broadcast journalist known for his work with various local stations, including WCBS-TV, WCA-TV, WPVI-TV, WOI-TV, and WDIV-TV. They filed for divorce in 2007 after 15 years of marriage.
Pat DeMentri is also a mother; she has a daughter, Nikki DeMentri, from her relationship with her ex-husband. Just like her parents, Nikki is a TV personality who currently works as a reporter and anchor for CBS News Philadelphia.
