Courtney Khondabi, the QVC host and fashion and beauty expert, has been married to her husband, Joey Scribner-Howard, for over a decade. But what most people don’t know is that the two are high-school sweethearts who started dating when they were teenagers.
Despite meeting and starting to date at such a young age, Khondabi and her husband are still together years later. Below is a detailed look at the duo’s love journey, from how they met to their marriage and the start of their family together.

How did Courtney Khondabi and Joey Scribner-Howard meet?
Courtney Khondabi and Joey Scribner-Howard met at Greenwood Christian School, a private Christian school in Greenwood, South Carolina. The two started dating soon after meeting.
Joey later transferred to Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, South Carolina, but the couple continued to date. They then joined the same university – The University of South Carolina (USC) – where they continued their relationship.
At USC, Khondabi pursued a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, graduating in 2011. Joey, meanwhile, pursued a degree in mechanical engineering and played football as a kicker before graduating in 2012.
Marriage and family
Courtney Khondabi and Joey Scribner-Howard got married in 2014, just a few years after leaving college. The two tied the knot at the First Baptist Church in their hometown of Greenwood.
In 2025, Khondabi and Joey grew their family after welcoming their daughter, Camille, through adoption.

Besides their daughter, the duo are enthusiastic dog lovers and share their home with a Maltese dog, Finnegan “Finny,” who frequently appears on Khondabi’s social media pages. They also had another dog, Liam, who sadly passed away in 2024.

Soon after graduating college, Courtney Khondabi began her career in media as a news anchor for Media General. She later worked for West Virginia Media as a news anchor and Sinclair Broadcast Group as a morning show host.
Khondabi joined QVC in 2017 as an on-air host and has been with the home shopping network ever since, now going on 10 years. She specializes in fashion, beauty, and jewelry, and currently hosts several segments, including Girls Night In, How to Beauty, and How to Sparkle.

On the other hand, Joey Scribner-Howard began working as a design engineer at Prysmian Group before rising through the ranks to become a district sales manager.
He later worked as a sales associate before venturing into entrepreneurship, investing in several restaurant ventures. Currently, he works as a commercial real estate investor. After leaving college, Joey tried out for several NFL teams, but did not pursue a professional football career.
