United Airlines has expanded its inflight entertainment experience with the launch of a free Peacock channel. The channel will allow passengers to access a curated collection of titles from NBC Universal and Peacock.
The new Peacock inflight channel will improve the current onboard streaming experience for United Airlines passengers. It will also increase United’s vast entertainment catalog, further entrenching it as one of the leading airlines in inflight entertainment.

What can you stream on the free Peacock channel?
The Peacock inflight channel will be available on United Airlines from May 1, 2026. The channel will offer free streaming of NBC and Peacock originals, but not everything on the Peacock library will be available onboard
Instead, the inflight channel will include a curated collection of titles, such as All Her Fault, Poker Face, and Traitors (Season 4). United Airlines will also roll out episodes of additional titles, including Ponies and The Copenhagen Test, in June, with additional titles added regularly.
You will be able to watch these titles on more than 160,000 seatback screens on United Airlines planes. The free inflight channel will also be available on the United mobile app.

The new Peacock inflight channel is part of United Airlines’ plans to improve onboard customer experience, with Dominic Green, the Director of Inflight Entertainment at United Airlines, stating:
“Entertainment plays a central role in the onboard customer experience, and we’re continuing to expand both the quality and variety of what’s available.”
He also emphasized that the new content would help to provide passengers with more engaging onboard entertainment:
“With these popular series from Peacock, we’re introducing a standout lineup of widely recognized series to our seatback screens and personal device entertainment, further strengthening our premium inflight entertainment offering and giving customers more engaging ways to spend their time in the air.“
