10. How to fix HDCP error

Sometimes, you will see an HDCP error when playing HBO Max videos. You will have to bypass your stereo or receiver equipment when that happens by connecting your streaming device directly to your TV.

Generally, HDCP stands for High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection. It is a system that protects digital content from duplication.
