ShowBox is not working? Here’s a fix!

Method 1: Re-establish connection

The most popular error is ShowBox watch now not working. This is as a result of poor internet connection.

When the speeds are low the connection to the servers is usually slower than normal. To fix this restart your network.

On your phone, you can easily do this by activating airplane mode for a few minutes then deactivating it. After that, open ShowBox and it should stream.

For other devices like firestick, turn off the router and restart it after a few minutes. Connect to ShowBox and watch.

Method 2: Use a VPN

ShowBox is restricted in some countries. This makes video streaming unavailable. To fix such streaming issues you need a VPN.

This will provide you with new access and unblock several restrictions which will now allow you to access ShowBox without interference.

To get a VPN, open your browser and such for VPN. There are different types depending on the price tags. Select one that fits you, activate it, and then start streaming.

  1. Go to settings then click on apps.
  2. Find ShowBox from the list of available apps.
  3. Click on storage
  4. Now select the ‘clear cache’ option

This should clear the cache and allow the app to work.

Method 4: Change servers

This is for when the stream fails to load completely. It is usually a problem from the upload of the file rather than on the ShowBox app.

To fix it follow the steps.

  1. Select a movie and move to the three-dot menu
  2. After selecting the menu, a window will pop up for you to choose or change the server.
  3. Click on the currently displayed server and a list will be shown.
  4. Select another server from the list

Method 5: Reinstall ShowBox

This is a simple last resort. Just uninstall the application, download it again and install it.
