How to record on PlayStation Vue
There are several procedures on how to record on PlayStation Vue depending on your device.
On your computer
If you are using a computer to stream content, follow the steps below to record shows on PlayStation Vue.
- Visit https://vue.playstation.com/watch and sign in to your account.
- Click on Channels.
- Select your preferred channel.
- Click on the show you want to record.
- Click on the + sign under My Shows. The option will set My DVR to start recording the show you have selected in Step Four. Your show will be recorded immediately it airs.
You must log in to your account to watch the show. You should then click on My Vue, select your show, and play it.
PlayStation 4
To record PlayStation Vue shows on your PlayStation 4:
- Open the service on your PlayStation 4 to go to the main screen.
- Search for any show you want to start recording by selecting the magnifying glass. If you already know the show, go to it directly.
- On your PS4 controller, press the R1 button. Pressing the button will set My DVR to start recording the show anytime it airs.
After the show has been recorded, press the L1 button on your controller to open My DVR. You should then select your show and play it to start watching.
Amazon Fire Stick or Roku
For you to record PlayStation Vue shows on Amazon Fire Stick or Roku, follow the procedure below.
- Open PS Vue on your Roku or Amazon Fire device to go to the main screen.
- Search for a show by selecting the magnifying glass. Or, go to the show directly if you already have it.
- On your remote control, press the down button to open the menu.
- Select My DVR to set it to start recording the show anytime it airs.
After the show has been recorded, open My DVR to start watching it. If you are using Roku, you can watch the show by pressing the up button on your remote. This will open My DVR. Continue by selecting the show and pressing play.
If you are using Amazon Fire Stick, select My DVR by pressing the Menu button on your remote. You should then select the recorded show and press play to start watching it.
Apple TV

- Open the service on Apple TV to go to the main screen.
- Search for any show by selecting the magnifying glass. You can also go to the show directly.
- Open the menu by swiping up the remote.
- Select My DVR to set it to start recording the show anytime it airs.
