You can now watch Freeview channels on Sky Stream

Watching your favorite shows can be challenging, as finding a streaming service or cable provider that offers everything you like can be difficult. You may have to get a streaming service and still get cable to ensure you are up to date.

If you are concerned about paying more to watch your shows, Sky Stream might be the solution.

Using Sky Stream to watch Freeview channels

If you have Sky Stream, you can now watch Freeview channels without getting a different subscription.

Sky Stream allows you to stream a large number of popular shows and content from streaming services like Discovery+ and Netflix

You can also watch classic movies, new releases, and sports shows.

To watch Freeview channels using Sky Stream, you must connect your aerial to your TV via the UHF input.

You will see a TV antenna icon among the apps on your screen. You can scan for local channels and watch them.

Sky Glass

If this function does not work on your device, you can upgrade to Sky Glass. Sky Glass allows you to receive terrestrial TV signals, ensuring that you can watch local channels.

While this function is meant as a fallback when Broadband fails, you can still use it when you have internet access.
