Contrary to what many people think, Showtime has a viewing history, only that it is indicated as My List rather than history like in other streaming services.
My list is the feature that allows you to organize and keep track of your favorite shows and ones that you have started but not yet finished.
Shows on your list will remain there until you remove them or they are no longer available on Showtime, whichever comes first.
The process of deleting shows from your recently watched list is pretty simple. Unlike most other streaming apps, you can only delete a single show at a time rather than deleting the entire history.
How to delete your Showtime viewing history
The method you’ll use to delete your Showtime viewing history depends on your streaming device.
1. Deleting Showtime viewing history on the web
Using your Laptop/PC, follow these steps:
- Go to the Showtime website and log in to your account.
- Display My List by clicking on the list icon at the top of the screen. The complete list of content you have watched will appear.
- Select the specific shows you want to remove or select everything to clear your history completely.
Your history should be cleared.
2. Deleting Showtime viewing history on your Apple or Android mobile devices
If you are using the Showtime app on iOS or Android:
- Open the Showtime anytime app on your device
- Tap the list icon to display My list.
- Scroll until you find the show you wish to delete.
- Swipe to the left until it shows that the movie or show has been deleted.
Alternatively, you can select all to delete your entire Showtime anytime watch history.
3. Deleting viewing history on Roku
On your Roku device, open your Showtime channel and follow these steps:
- From the home screen, select the show you wish to delete from your history.
- Open its detail screen (the page with all the information about the program).
- Select Remove.
- Alternatively, go to the All added option under My list in the navigation menu. This will display all the shows you have on your list.
- Select the specific program you want to delete, or select all and then select Remove to delete your entire list
4. Deleting viewing history on Apple TV
The process is similar to the one you follow when deleting history from a Roku device.
- From the home screen, select the show you wish to delete from your history.
- Open its detail screen and select Remove.
- You can also select the All added option under My list in the navigation menu. This will display all the shows you have on your list.
- Select the specific show you want to delete, or select all and then choose Remove.
