HGTV has introduced 17 brand-new shows and spinoffs in 2026. Most are already on the air with Hoarding for the Holidays set to premiere in November.Â
The new lineup covers home buying and renovations. You also get to see vacation rentals, and unusual properties. What’s more, there are surprise makeovers and even haunted houses.
Here are the brand-new HGTV shows premiering in 2026.
1. Neighborhood Watch
Premiere date: January 7, 2026
This show does not follow a renovation crew. Instead, it uses footage from security cameras and smart doorbells. They also have nanny cams and other cameras around homes. The 16-episode season turns ordinary home surveillance into stories about strange visitors, animals, neighbors and other unexpected moments.
2. Bachelor Mansion Takeover
Premiere date: March 2, 2026
HGTV put 12 Bachelor franchise alumni inside the real Bachelor Mansion. The channel gave them renovation challenges. They had to redesign spaces including the rose room, bunk rooms, pool area and kitchen while facing eliminations. The final winner received $100,000.
3. Wild Vacation Rentals
Premiere date: March 2, 2026
Sherry Cola and D’Arcy Carden take road trips to unusual short-term rentals across the US. The properties include a bird’s nest, grain silo, potato house and an old western town. One episode goes underground into a former nuclear missile complex about 50 feet below the surface.
4. Property Brothers: Under Pressure
Premiere date: March 15, 2026
Drew and Jonathan Scott work with buyers who are struggling to commit to a home. They do not simply find a house. The brothers help clients decide what is worth buying and then improve the property they choose. The first episode follows a couple rebuilding their lives after losing their home in the Eaton fire.
5. Tropic Like It’s Hot
Premiere date: April 6, 2026
This house-hunting show follows couples looking for homes in tropical locations. The unusual part is how quickly some of these relationships are moving. One premiere couple had dated for only nine months before searching for a home and business in Tulum, while another pair had spent only a week together before planning a move to Costa Rica.
6. World’s Bargain Dream Homes
Premiere date: April 14, 2026
Next up is this series which follows buyers searching for move-in-ready homes. They specifically want places where their money goes further. The first season travels through places such as Crete, Tarragona, Sicily, Tuscany, Puglia, France and Costa Rica. Many of the homes are priced around $150,000 or less.
7. Home Town: Inn This Together
Premiere date: May 10, 2026
Ben and Erin Napier help friends restore a huge 1930 Kress building in downtown Laurel, Mississippi. The 25,000-square-foot building had been empty for about 40 years. It was being turned into a hotel, food space and shops. The project also suffered a serious fire after the renovation work.
8. Renovation Island: The Adventure Continues
Premiere date: June 7, 2026
Bryan and Sarah Baeumler expand beyond the original Renovation Island setup. The six-episode series follows their work at the Pines & Palms Resort in the Florida Keys, projects connected to their Bahamas resort and other business and family work. It gives more attention to their wider renovation business.
9. Worst Yard on the Block
Premiere date: July 15, 2026
Two landscaping teams hunt for some of America’s hardest outdoor spaces to fix. The problems are not limited to ugly grass. HGTV features yards with feral cats, huge overgrowth and properties carrying thousands of dollars in fines. The first season has 12 episodes.
10. Maine Cabin Masters: All Inn
Premiere date: July 19, 2026
The Maine Cabin Masters crew takes on a much larger project than a normal cabin. Chase and Sarah Morrill work on a nine-bedroom estate and barn and also build three new cabins on the 12-acre property. The goal is to turn the rundown site into a working lakeside inn.
11. Extreme Buyers Club
Premiere date: July 21, 2026
Real estate agent Noel Collier works with people whose home searches are far from normal. Her clients include someone with 40 llamas and a kangaroo, a couple wanting an underground bunker and professional mermaid performers who need enough water for training.
12. Roast My Rental
Premiere date: July 24, 2026
Leslie Jones visits short-term rentals with terrible reviews and strange problems before Jasmine Roth’s team steps in. One property has cardboard curtains, a shower beside the bed and an unsafe loft. The owners then get only 72 hours to turn the rental around.
13. Totally ’90s House
Premiere date: August 26, 2026
Jaleel White hosts six stars from 1990s television as they split into two teams and renovate houses stuck in the decade. All will encounter honey-oak cabinets, sponge-painted walls, heavy carpet and mirrored closets. The teams also have to keep enough ’90s character instead of simply making the homes modern.
14. Botched Homes
Premiere date: September 2, 2026
Contractor Charlie Kawas repairs homes damaged by bad renovations and failed DIY jobs. The problems get very specific, including exposed electrical wiring held together by a stuffed snake, mold, rats and even a home without a front door. Designer Courtney Ibars joins him on the eight-episode season.
15. A Very Haunted Renovation
Premiere date: September 15, 2026
Six designers move into Bihl Manor in Fremont, Ohio, for 31 days while renovating the reportedly haunted property. Anna Camp hosts the six-episode competition, with HGTV designer Michel Smith Boyd helping judge the work. The winner receives $50,000.
16. House Shock
Premiere date: September 22, 2026
Arielle Vandenberg and builder Steve Lewis secretly renovate rooms for homeowners who have no idea what is happening. Family members create cover stories while the crew works around cameras and other distractions. The 20-episode season includes surprise renovations of kitchens, bedrooms, offices and living rooms.
17. Hoarding for the Holidays
Premiere date: November 11, 2026
HGTV is ending its 2026 run of new series with a Christmas-focused show about extreme holiday collectors. Its four episodes feature people with huge collections of decorations, giant snowmen, plastic blow molds and enough Christmas lights to take over their homes.
