You do not need a cable box to catch all the SundanceTV content. In the United States, the live channel is available through several services.
The cheapest full-month option is Philo at $25. Sling costs slightly more as a recurring subscription. DIRECTV, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV carry it along with bigger lineups.

Philo includes SundanceTV in its Essential plan for $25 per month. No add-on is required. This makes the service the least expensive, straightforward choice if you want the live channel throughout the month.
The plan carries more than 70 subscription channels. It includes AMC, BBC America, IFC, Discovery Channel, Hallmark Channel, and Paramount Network. It also includes three simultaneous streams, up to 10 profiles, and unlimited cloud DVR. Recordings remain available for one year.
New Essential subscribers receive a seven-day trial. Philo’s $33 Bundle+ plan also carries SundanceTV and adds AMC+, HBO Max Basic with Ads, discovery+ and All Reality. The cheaper plan is enough for the live channel.
Philo leaves out most local stations and large sports networks. It suits households that mainly watch entertainment, reality, lifestyle and documentary channels.
2. Sling TV
SundanceTV sits in Sling’s Hollywood Extra add-on rather than a standard package. The lowest recurring setup combines Sling Select, starting at $19.99 per month, with Hollywood Extra for $6. Your total starts at $25.99 per month.
Sling Select costs more in markets where local stations are included. One or two local channels add $5 per month, while three add $10. Depending on your address, the SundanceTV setup could therefore cost $30.99 or $35.99.
Sling also sells short passes:
- One day with Hollywood Extra: $5.99
- Three days with Hollywood Extra: $11.99
- Seven days with Hollywood Extra: $17.99
The passes end automatically after the selected period, making them useful for a film marathon or a programme airing during one week.
3. DIRECTV
DIRECTV carries SundanceTV on channel 239 through its MyEntertainment Genre Pack. The package costs $42.99 per month, includes more than 60 live entertainment channels and comes with a five-day trial for eligible new customers.
Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max Basic with Ads and AMC+ with ads are included. Other live networks include AMC and BBC America. You also get IFC, A&E, Bravo, FX, HGTV and Lifetime.
MyEntertainment makes sense when you would otherwise pay separately for several of those apps. It is less suitable as a full cable replacement because it lacks the local-news and sports coverage found in DIRECTV’s larger plans.
4. YouTube TV
This giant includes SundanceTV in its main plan. The regular price is $82.99 per month. This is for more than 100 live channels.
Eligible new subscribers currently pay $67.99 per month for the first three months. This will be followed by the regular rate, but promotions vary. For instance, this offer is scheduled to end on August 26, 2026.
The subscription includes local stations in most areas, national news, entertainment and sports networks. You also receive unlimited DVR storage, three streams and six household accounts. YouTube TV suits you when SundanceTV is one part of the broad lineup you need.
5. Hulu + Live TV
The standard plan here costs $89.99 per month. It includes SundanceTV and more than 100 live channels. You also get Hulu’s streaming library, Disney+, and ESPN Select.
New and eligible returning subscribers receive a three-day trial. The plan supports two streams and includes unlimited DVR, with recordings stored for up to nine months. An Unlimited Screens add-on serves larger households.
Do not mistake Hulu’s cheaper on-demand plans for live SundanceTV access. They carry a changing selection of programmes associated with the network, while the live feed requires Hulu + Live TV.
