Watching South Park is much easier in the United States than it was a few years ago. Paramount+ now carries every released season.
The platform has the seven-hour Paramount+ specials. It also carries the theatrical movie South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.
New episodes still premiere on Comedy Central. Once done, they reach Paramount+ the following day.
Season 29 begins on September 16, 2026.
Where to stream every South Park season
As already mentioned, watch Seasons 1 through 28 on the South Park page on Paramount+. The service includes the original 1997 season. It has the pandemic-era episodes and the shorter seasons released in recent years.
The giant has two plans:
- Essential: $8.99 per month or $89.99 per year.
- Premium: $13.99 per month or $139.99 per year.
Essential is enough if you mainly want South Park. It includes the complete season selection with commercial breaks.
Premium removes most on-demand ads and adds Showtime programming and a live feed of your local CBS station. Live programming and some promotions still contain ads.
Previously, there was an old arrangement under which the regular series streamed on Max. The longer specials were still on Paramount+. Currently, you no longer need two subscriptions to follow the main show and its exclusive events.
Every season does not always mean every episode
Paramount+ advertises every season, but you should not read that as a promise that every episode ever produced is available.
Some older episodes remain missing from the streaming library.
Still, the service gives you the broadest legal subscription library in one place.
How to watch new South Park episodes
Season 29 begins on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
The announced season schedule includes six episodes:
- September 16
- September 30
- October 14
- October 28
- November 11
- November 25
Where to watch the South Park specials
Paramount+ calls its longer productions “exclusive events.” They run for about 45 to 60 minutes and are closer to television movies than regular 22-minute episodes.
All seven released events are available on Paramount+:
- Post Covid (2021)
- Post Covid: The Return of Covid (2021)
- The Streaming Wars Part 1 (2022)
- The Streaming Wars Part 2 (2022)
- Joining the Panderverse (2023)
- South Park (Not Suitable for Children) (2023)
- The End of Obesity (2024)
All these events are included with both Paramount+ plans. You do not pay an extra rental fee after subscribing. The service’s official guide to the exclusive events also confirms that the full set remains exclusive to Paramount+.
Can you watch South Park for free?
The official South Park Studios website offers free episodes, clips, themed collections, and other videos. It is useful when you want to watch a few episodes without starting a subscription.
The free selection is not a replacement for Paramount+. Available episodes rotate, and you cannot depend on the site for a complete season-by-season marathon. Regional versions of the website can also show different episodes.
You could watch new episodes during a Paramount+ free trial when one is offered to your account. Trial availability can change, particularly when you subscribe through another company instead of directly through Paramount+.
Can you buy South Park without Paramount+?
Regular South Park episodes and seasons are sold through digital stores. Apple TV lists individual seasons and larger box sets, while Prime Video and Fandango at Home sell episodes or complete seasons.
Buying makes sense when you repeatedly watch a particular season and do not want an ongoing subscription. Check the episode count before paying, since store collections can differ and could contain the same omissions found on subscription services.
The Paramount+ exclusive events are less flexible. They are designed as subscription exclusives, so Paramount+ remains the dependable place to watch the specials together.
