How to watch the Great American Family Network

You do not need cable to watch Great American Family. The channel is available through its own GFam+ app and several live TV services in the United States.

The cheapest direct option is GFam+ at $5.99 per month. You can also watch it through other platforms at different fees.

Streaming services that carry Great American Family

Here is where you could watch the live channel:

1. GFam+

GFam+ is Great American Media’s own streaming app. It provides a commercial-free, 24-hour feed of Great American Family and Great American Faith & Living programming. This is without requiring a cable or live TV subscription.

The monthly plan costs $5.99, while the annual plan costs $59.99. You could watch through all the major Operating Systems and browsers.

GFam+ is built around live scheduled channels. It is not the same as a large on-demand service where you select any movie at any time. If you miss a premiere, you might need to wait for another scheduled broadcast.

2. Frndly TV

This is the cheapest choice if you want Great American Family together with other traditional channels. Every plan includes the same 50-plus live networks.

The Basic plan costs $8.99 per month. It supports one stream in standard definition and does not include DVR recording.

Classic costs $10.99. It upgrades the picture to HD. The plan also allows two streams. It includes unlimited DVR recordings stored for three months.

Premium costs $12.99. The plan supports four streams, and keeps recordings for nine months.

3. Philo

Philo includes Great American Family in its $25 Essential plan. You do not need an add-on. The package carries more than 70 subscription channels. Main TV stations include Great American Faith & Living, all three Hallmark networks, Lifetime, UPtv, AMC, HGTV, Paramount Network, and TLC.

You also receive unlimited DVR storage, with recordings kept for one year, and new customers receive a seven-day trial. Philo allows you to create up to 10 profiles.

Philo is a strong middle option when you want Great American Family and a broad entertainment lineup. It leaves out most local broadcast stations and large sports networks, so it is not a complete cable replacement.

4. Sling TV

Great American Family sits in Sling’s Heartland Extra package. The cheapest recurring setup is Sling Essentials with Heartland Extra for $25.99 per month. The subscription includes 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage.

Sling is also useful when you only need the channel briefly. Its passes end automatically and support optional Extra packages:

  • One day with Heartland Extra: $5.99
  • Three days with Heartland Extra: $11.99
  • Seven days with Heartland Extra: $17.99

Those short passes could cover one movie premiere or a holiday weekend without starting a full monthly subscription.

5. DIRECTV

DIRECTV carries Great American Family on channel 326. Through its lower-cost Genre Packs, the channel is included in the MyCinema mini-pack. This costs $10.99 per month but must be attached to an eligible base pack.

For example, MyEntertainment costs $42.99 per month. Adding MyCinema brings the total to $53.98 before tax. MyCinema also includes TCM, LMN, INSP, GRIT, Sony Movies, and Family Movie Classics.

DIRECTV makes more sense when Great American Family is only one part of the entertainment package you need. Do not mistake the $10.99 MyCinema price for a standalone subscription.

6. YouTube TV

Great American Family and Great American Faith & Living joined YouTube TV in September 2025. Both are included in the main plan. That means no entertainment add-on is required.

YouTube TV costs $82.99 per month. It carries more than 100 live channels. The platform includes local stations in most areas.

You get three simultaneous streams. Their six household accounts and unlimited DVR storage are also useful.

This is a better choice when your household watches national news and major sports networks. It is expensive if Great American Family is the only channel you need.
