If you have problems logging into your Hoopla account, you can correct them yourself.
You may not be able to log into your account because you are using the wrong email or password, have problems with your library, or have issues with your app or browser.

Using the Wrong Login Credentials
When you do not have the correct password or email, it is impossible to log into your account. You will get a login credential error message, meaning you used the wrong credentials. Follow these steps to fix the problem.
- Check the spelling of your email address. For example, @gmail.com and @googlemail.com are different. This difference may make it impossible for you to get into your account. Ensure that the end of your email address is the same one you used when creating your account.
- Try logging in again, and that should work.
Reset Your Password
When you cannot log in, check your password. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it and log into your account by following these easy steps.
- Under the password box, click on “Forgot your Password.”
- Next, you will be asked to enter your email address. Ensure you use the email associated with your account and click “Reset Password.” A reset link will be sent to your email address.
- Check your email and use the link to reset your password.
- Use your new password to log into your Hoopla account.
Important: The email address is incorrect if you do not receive a link. Try any other email addresses you might have used to create your account. Ensure that you use the correct spelling to log in successfully.
Follow these steps to fix problems with your app.
- Delete the Hoopla app on your device.
- Go to the Google Play Store for Android users and Apple App Store for iOS devices and download the app again.
- Finally, log in again, and that should solve the problem.
- Remember that if you are using a browser that is not supported, you can update it or download a different one. Hoopla works on Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox version 8 and above. Sometimes, your credentials may not work on the app but work on your PC browser. This issue often resolves within 24 hours if you wait.
Contact Your Library
If none of the above works, contact your library for help. They can reset your account or replace your library card.
