Starting 1 July 2026, Network 10’s free-to-air channels will be removed from TVs in key regional areas like SA’s Limestone Coast, Riverland, and NSW’s Riverina. Thousands of households will lose access to popular shows.
This change is happening because WIN Network’s Program Supply Agreement with Network 10 for the Riverland, Mount Gambier (Limestone Coast), and Griffith areas is ending.

WIN has confirmed that the agreement will end on 30 June 2026.
Which Channel 10 stations will viewers lose?
From 1 July, people in these areas will no longer get free-to-air broadcasts of Channel 10, 10 Drama (previously 10 Bold), 10 Comedy (previously 10 Peach), and Nickelodeon. Around 90,000 to 100,000 Australians will be affected.
Older viewers, low-income families, and people in nursing homes will be hit hardest by these changes. Homes without modern smart TVs will lose access to the network’s free programs completely.
For many families in these farming and rural areas, free-to-air TV is still their main source of news, entertainment, and emergency updates.
Losing these channels suddenly will disrupt daily routines, especially for families who do not have fast, unlimited NBN or reliable high-speed internet for streaming.
How will losing Channel 10 stations affect viewers?
People living in the Riverland and Limestone Coast near Mount Gambier often rely on free TV for national news, weather, sports, and shows like MasterChef Australia, Australian Survivor, and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.
Losing these channels without warning is frustrating for many people who can’t easily move to paid streaming services. In NSW’s Riverina, around Griffith, farming families and small towns may find the change hard, especially during bushfires or floods when broadcast TV gives important alerts along with ABC and other channels.
WIN will still show other networks in these areas, but losing Channel 10’s programs leaves a gap.
What can viewers do?

Households with digital TVs and antennas should try rescanning channels after 1 July, but Channel 10’s signals won’t show up. Other options include:
- Subscribing to 10’s streaming service, either 10 Play or Paramount+, depending on the show.
- Using catch-up apps, if you have a good internet connection.
- Installing a satellite dish or looking into other ways to get TV, though these options may cost extra.
Network 10 has suggested viewers use its digital platforms to watch programs, but this change makes things harder for people with lower incomes or limited technology.
