Hulu and Pocket.watch are collaborating on a new original series, Rabbit Hole. The show, which features 10 half-hour episodes, is set to premiere exclusively on Hulu in 20256.
Rabbit Hole is a variety, creator-driven show developed for teens and young adults. It stars a cast of digital creators with large social media followings.

Hulu and Pocket.watch’s collaboration on the new series is revolutionary, as it elevates content creators into premium, mainstream entertainment. It also caters to the viewing needs of the younger digital generation, who are often underrepresented on streaming platforms’ content.
The unique concept and format of Rabbit Hole
Rabbit Hole is a TV show that offers a unique concept and format. Unlike traditional TV shows, it is a creator-driven series, with content creators as the driving force of the storyline(s).
According to Albie Hecht, Pocket.watch’s Chief Content Officer, Rabbit Hole is the first-of-its-kind variety show that uses the creator-driven concept:
“We look at what the creator’s brand is and create a format around that. We don’t have a [pre-existing] format and then stick them into it.”
Hecht also revealed that the show will be filmed in a manner that captures digital creators’ techniques of making content:
“What we’ve said to them is, ‘You tell me how you do it in your world, and we will be true to that.’ They are the directors, just as they are in their own content. They bring their own sensibilities, and it’s about capturing their style and their authenticity.”
Hulu and Pocket.watch’s original show is also community-centric, built around content creators’ existing online followings. Therefore, it is likely to experience a more loyal following and deeper engagements, as many fans will already be familiar with the cast.
In terms of format, Rabbit Hole features half-hour episodes. The short episodes align with young digital audiences’ viewing habits, as they are accustomed to consuming short-form videos on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
Rabbit Hole will also feature content creator collabs and interactive content like extreme challenges, gaming, music, and animation. The variety of content offered is another aspect of the show’s format that will help appeal to the young audience.
