What happened to Sue Aikens from Life Below Zero?

When you mention Alaska, most people think of cold, isolation, and Sue Aikens.

Sue Aikens owns the Kavik River Camp and has made a great life for herself in the Alaskan Wilderness. She is fearless, determined, and ready to face any challenges.

Sue Aikens has spent most of her life in Alaska and maintains her property primarily on her own, hunts and ensures that the property is safe from wildlife attacks.

Life Below Zero is one of the shows that she has been on, and it has become synonymous with her. Many people watched it to see her face impossible odds and succeed.

Now that Life Below Zero was canceled after its 23rd season, what happened to Sue Aikens?

Life Below Zero

After seeing her on Flying Wild Alaska, the producers of Life Below Zero wanted her on their show. She was a force and attracted a huge portion of the audience to the show to see her.

She faced many challenges on the shows, but when she was asked to do something dangerous that resulted in serious injury, she sued the network and won.

Sue continued to appear on the show until it was canceled.

Love life

Sue Aikens has not been the most fortunate person in love. She has been married three times and is currently engaged to Michael Heinrich.

She is not one to give up on love. Sue often posts about her man and their relationship on her social media pages, so you can learn more about it that way.

The adventurer is happy and hopes that this relationship goes well.

Improving Kavik River Camp

Sue has spent her time away from Life Below Zero and TV working on her camp. She dreams of making the camp green, although that will take time and money.

The survivalist keeps making improvements, ensuring that hunters and others looking for safe accommodation can find it at Kavik River Camp

Moving from Kavik

While Sue Aikens admits that she prefers the isolation and quiet in the wilderness, she recognizes that she needs to retire. The camp’s land does not belong to her, and the government could throw her out at any time.

In addition, she is growing older, and her work at the camp is quite hard. Hunting and protecting herself may be too much for her in her 70s so she wanted to move elsewhere.

Sue found an abandoned property and bought it without seeing it and looks forward to moving there and building the next chapter of her life.

Today

Today, Sue Aikens continues to live in Kavik while planning to slow down and move to her new home. Her determination is inspiring, and her work has made more people interested in life in Alaska.

Some have even been inspired to go hunting and spend a few weeks in the isolated north. As she plans to take a slower pace, her fans all wish her the best.

They believe that she will carve a great new chapter on the new land.
