Kenny Law from Moonshiners illness and cause of death

Kenny Law grew up in a moonshine-making family. He started running and making Moonshine young under his uncle, Amos Law, a renowned moonshine maker and runner.

He worked with his cousin, and they learned everything their uncle knew about moonshine. Kenny Law was born in 1956 and died at 68 in 2025.

He was well-known for his role on Moonshiners, a Discovery Channel docuseries. Here is everything you need to know about Kenny Law’s illness and death.

Struggle with Diabetes

Kenny Law had diabetes, which he struggled with for many years. Diabetes comes with many complications, including heart problems.

These were huge challenges for him. He was a third-generation moonshiner and worked hard to run the Choice Moonshine distillery.

Kenny, while getting diabetes treatment, did not let it get in the way of his work in his distillery or on the Discovery Channel show Moonshiners.

Heart attack and hospitalization

In 2024, Kenny Law had a heart attack and had to spend some time in the hospital. He was 67, and many people usually start to have heart problems as they grow older. The fact that he had diabetes made heart problems more likely.

He recovered and continued his life until early 2025.

Blood infection

His family reported that he had been hospitalized with a blood infection. He was quite ill, and his family, who lauded him as “tough as nails” in their tributes, took care of him during that illness.

Kenny Law’s family has not yet explained his cause of death officially.

His cousin and business partner at Law’s Choice Distillery, however, said that a combination of diabetes, heart problems, and the recent infection contributed to his passing.
