KMOV (Channel 4) is the go-to station for the latest news in St. Louis, Missouri, including breaking news, weather, sports, and more.

But who are the personalities responsible for bringing you the latest news?

The CBS-affiliated network has an impressive list of on-air personalities. Below is a look at all the current KMOV news anchors and some interesting facts about them.

1. Cory Stark

Cory Stark is one of the main anchors for the KMOV news team. He is Channel 4’s evening and night news anchor, currently covering the 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m. slots.

He graduated from Marquette High School in Missouri and attended Bulter University in Indiana. He then began his career in the media at WFIE Evansville in Indiana.

Stark also spent three years at WXIX in Cincinnati as a reporter and fill-in anchor. He then returned home to Missouri and joined KMOV as a nightside reporter.

At KMOV, Cory Stark quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a weekend and morning news anchor before being promoted to nighttime anchor.

2. Samantha Jones

Samantha Jones is a journalist, reporter, and news anchor from Texas, United States. She is a KMOV weeknight news anchor who covers the 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m. slots alongside Cory Stark.

She enrolled at the University of Arkansas and graduated with a BA in Broadcast Journalism. She began her media career as a KSWO TV reporter before being promoted to weekend anchor.

Jones then moved to KRBC-TV (in Texas) as an evening anchor and later, KNWA TV (in Arkansas) as a news reporter.

She joined KMOV-TV in 2018 as a reporter and weekend morning anchor before being promoted to nighttime news anchor in 2019.

3. Claire Kellett

Claire Kellett is a journalist, anchor, and reporter hailing from Missouri. She is the KMOV news anchor for morning and noon.

Kellett attended Nerinx Hall High School in Webster Grove, Missouri, before attending the University of Missouri, where she studied journalism. She then began her career as an intern for CNN-New York.

The American journalist moved to KCRG (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) as an anchor and reporter in 2005. She joined KMOV-TV in 2010 and has been with Channel 4 since then.

4. Maurice Drummond

Maurice Drummond is a KMOV news anchor for weekday mornings. He is the co-anchor of fellow KMOW on-air personality Claire Kallet.

A Baltimore native, Drummond attended the University of Maryland, where he studied Radio, Television, and Film.

He then began a career in the media, covering mostly sports and working for top sports networks like ESPN and The Golf Channel.

Drummond joined KMOV-TV in 2013 as a sports director. He held that role for seven years before joining the news team in 2020 as a morning news anchor.

5. Melanie Johnson

Melanie Jonhson is a journalist from Chicago. She is a nightside reporter and a weekend night news anchor on KMOV-TV.

Johnson attended the prestigious Howard University, where she graduated as an Annenberg Honors scholar. She also did a summer abroad semester in Guangxi, China, where she took a course in Chinese Studies.

Melanie Johnson started her career in the media with KNOP-TV in Nebraska as an evening news reporter in 2015.

She then moved to WDKX radio station in New York in 2017, where she worked as a community reporter.

Johnson has also worked as a reporter for Spectrum and an anchor, reporter, and producer for CNYCentral (both in New York). In 2022, she moved to St. Louis and joined the KMOV-TV news team.

6. Justin Andrews

Justin Andrews is a journalist hailing from St. Louis. He works as a news anchor at KMOV-TV.

He studied broadcast media and journalism at the University of Central Missouri. His first job in the media was as an intern at KMBC 9 News in St. Louis.

Andrews worked at several media outlets, such as UCM News, KVO-DT, and KWWL, before joining KMOV-TV as a reporter in 2015.

However, he left KMOV in 2021 for KPIX in San Fransisco before returning to KMOV-TV again in 2023 as a reporter and news anchor.

7. David Amelotti

David Amelotti is another KMOV news anchor from the St. Louis area. He co-anchors the news for the 4 p.m. slot.

Amelotti attended South East Missouri State University and Lindenwood University, where he studied mass communication.

He then joined KSDK-TV NewsChannel 5 as an intern before being promoted to production assistant.

From KSDK, he moved to KHQA as a weekend anchor and, later, an evening anchor before joining KGAN CBS as a fill-in anchor and investigative reporter.

In 2022, Andrews joined KMOV-TV as a reporter and fill-in anchor. In 2023, he was promoted to anchor, though he occasionally contributes to stories and live reports.

8. Cameron Bopp

Cameron Bopp is an anchor and reporter for the KMOV-TV Channel 4.

The Illinois native attended South Illinois University, Edwardsville, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts In Mass Communication and Media Studies.

He also attained an MS in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University. Bopp’s first job in the media industry was as a videography intern at O’Fallon Weekly.

While studying, he also worked as a part-time communication assistant for the Alzheimer’s Association and a freelance reporter for Medill Reports.

After completing his master’s, he joined WCSC-TV in South Carolina as a reporter and traffic reporter before moving up the ranks to become a weekday evening anchor.

He then moved to St. Louis in 2023, joining the KMOV news team.

9. Laura Hettiger

Laura Hettiger is a traffic anchor at KMOV-TV Channel 4. She also co-hosts the channel’s lifestyle show, My St. Louis Live and Great Day St. Louis.

An Illinois native, Hettiger attended the University of Illinois, graduating with a BS in News-Editorial Journalism and an MS in Broadcast Journalism.

During her studies, she also worked as a broadcast intern at WICD TV and a teaching assistant at the University of Illinois.

Her first major job in the media industry was as a multimedia journalist at WCBD-TV (South Carolina) in 2011.

 In 2012, she joined KMOV-TV as a reporter before becoming a traffic anchor on the morning show.

10. Paige Hulsey

Paige Husley is a traffic anchor and reporter for KMOV-TV, who covers the traffic news on the morning newscasts.

She is also the co-host of the Great Day St. Louis lifestyle show and the host of the Turn the Page with Page interview show.

Hulsey is a Missouri native who attended St. Francis Borgia Regional High School. She then joined Drake University, pursuing a BA in Broadcast News Journalism and Mass Communication.

Before joining the media industry, Hulsey had several jobs, such as a foreign language expert, social media intern, and lecturer in China.

However, in 2013, she joined the WAOW channel in Wisconsin, starting as a weekend anchor before becoming a morning news anchor.

Hulsey joined KMOV-TV in 2016, starting as a producer for the channel. She then moved up the ranks, becoming a multimedia journalist, reporter, segment producer, and anchor & host.

11. Taylor Holt

Taylor Holt is a KMOV anchor for the morning newscast on weekends and a reporter for the morning newscast on weekdays.

Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, Holt attended DePaul University, where she studied journalism.

She then joined WGN-TV as an intern before moving to Hubbard Broadcasting as a TV news reporter and KCRG-TV (Cedar Rapids) as an anchor/reporter.

Holt moved to St. Louis in 2021 and has been on the KMOV news team since then.

12. Tamar Sher

Tamar Sher is a sports journalist from St. Louis, Missouri. She is a sports anchor for KMOV-TV.

Sher attended Indiana University Bloomington, where she studied media, sports media, broadcast journalism, and public relations.

While at the university, she worked as a beat reporter and podcast host for the campus Hoosier Network.

After college, Sher worked as an intern at WISH-TV. She became a sports director at WFIE (an NBC affiliate) before moving to KMOV-TV in 2023.

13. Jacob Cersosimo

Jacob Cersosimo is a sports journalist who works as a reporter and sports anchor at KMOV-TV. He has been at KMOV since 2023.

Cersosimo attended St Cloud State University, where he pursued a mass communication and media studies degree. After college, he joined the Sioux Falls Stampede Hockey Club as an in-arena host.

He has also worked for Dakota News Now as a reporter and fill-in anchor, KYTV as a sports journalist and anchor, and Bleav Podcast Network as a podcast host.
