Courtland Rogers, best known for his brief marriage to Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, married Lindsey Frazier in 2018. However, their relationship now appears to be unraveling, with divorce on the horizon.
Frazier has publicly revealed her intention to end the marriage, citing Rogers’ absence as a father to their son, Kash. She expressed her frustration, explaining that Courtland has not been involved in Kash’s life since his birth, which she finds unacceptable.
Previously, Courtland had been married to Jenelle, but she filed for divorce after one month.
By the time the two were divorcing, Jenelle was pregnant with Courtland’s child, which led to her considering an abortion.
Courtland was in prison for quite some time
In 2020, Courtland was arrested by the police because of drugs. Previously, Courtland and Jenelle were both arrested on account of drugs in 2012 after getting married.
In an interview with the Sun, Lindsey said, “Courtland has a problem with drugs, and I have told him severally to let go, but he cannot.”
He was arrested again for strangulation and assault and sentenced to a prison term.
Courtland Rodgers resurfaces with new looks after prison
After serving his term in prison, Courtland appeared with his new look and posted on Instagram, quoting, “fresh start.”
Jenelle’s fans were startled to see his new look, which included a long beard resting on a pillow, which he posted on Instagram.
Rogers’s post on Instagram sparked humor and consoling reactions. Those who commented asked how many times he needed to start afresh. Others asked if he needed any support or someone to talk to.
Teen Mom, Jenelle’s ex-husband, suffers a drug overdose
While spending time in North Carolina, his home, Courtland, had a drug overdose. His partner, Lindsey, made a frantic call to 911 to report that Rogers had overdosed.
Lindsey told the dispatcher that she was spending time with kids outside when she heard guggling sounds inside the toilet. While she went to check, she found Courtland had locked himself in the toilet, and he was unresponsive.
Frazier decided to break the door and call 911. The dispatcher advised Frazier to try to lay Rogers on the floor, but she resorted to CPR. Roger’s wife was screaming while reviving him before the paramedics arrived. The call ended upon the paramedic’s arrival.
It was reported that Courtland survived, but no traces of drugs were found at the premises when the police came.
Current whereabouts
There are no reports about Rodgers’s whereabouts. His most recent Instagram post features him posing in a car with the caption “bang bang,” but it provides little insight into what he might be doing these days.
Rogers has had a series of criminal records that have dented his public image. But his fans hope that he is working on a fresh start.
