Are you an anime fan? If so, you have something to smile about with Crunchyroll – the streaming platform has lowered its subscription prices as part of the Ani-May celebration.
Anime fans on Crunchyroll have experienced several rough months, starting with the phasing out of the free, ad-supported plan in December 2025. The streaming platform then hiked its subscription prices in February 2026, a move that drew backlash from many anime fans.
However, Crunchyroll is making up for these issues with its Ani-May offers. The month-long anime celebration event has seen the platform slash its subscription prices to as low as $1.99 per month.
Crunchyroll’s new subscription prices will be available till May 21
Crunchyroll’s Ani-May subscription discount deal is available for its Fan and Mega Fan plans.
The Fan plan currently costs $9.99 per month, with the Mega Fan going for $13.99 per month, following the platform’s price update in February 2026. However, with the Ani-May promotion, you can get the Fan plan for $1.99 and the Mega Fan plan for $2.99 per month.
As a bonus, the Ani-May prices will be valid for three months, meaning that you will only pay around $6 on the Fan plan and $9 on the Mega Fan plan during this period – less than what you pay for one month if you subscribe to Crunchyroll under the normal subscription prices.
However, Crunchyroll’s Ani-May membership deal is time-limited; anime fans have until May 21, 2026, to grab the deal.
Who is eligible for the Crunchyroll Ani-May deal, and how can you grab the deal?
The Crunchyroll Ani-May subscription prices are available for both new and returning subscribers. The offer, however, does not include Ultimate Fan subscribers, who will pay the full price of $17.99 per month.
Furthermore, the deal is only limited to the monthly subscription options, with the annual subscription fees of the remaining unchanged at $99.99 per year (Fan Plan), $139.99 per year (Mega Fan), and $179.99 per year (Ultimate Fan).
To grab the deal, you only need to visit Crunchyroll’s sign-up page and subscribe to either the Fan or Mega Fan plan. Both plans offer ad-free access to the entire Crunchyroll library.
Other Ani-May deal perks you can enjoy
In addition to lowering its subscription prices, Crunchyroll is also offering subscribers more parks as part of the Ani-May celebration.
In a first-ever collaboration, Crunchyroll has teamed up with Forza Horizon 6 to offer all new and existing subscribers a free in-game car voucher code. Subscribers can exchange this voucher (only on Xbox) for any car available in the game, with the deal valid until May 31, 2026.
Other available Ani-May perks include an annual swag bag for Ultimate Fan subscribers and discounts on select products in the Crunchyroll store.
