beIN tightens its grip on tennis in MENA with Wimbledon renewal

beIN has now renewed its exclusive Wimbledon rights across 24 MENA territories. This is until 2030.

The event will continue to air on beIN SPORTS and stream on TOD and beIN Connect in the region.

If you are in this part of the world, you do not need to wonder whether Wimbledon will jump to another broadcaster in the coming years. You also do not have to think about whether you will need a different app just before any tournament starts.

Wimbledon now has a locked-in home in MENA

This deal keeps Wimbledon live and exclusive on beIN. This will be across a wide MENA footprint that includes markets such as the following:

  • Egypt
  • Saudi Arabia
  • the UAE
  • Qatar
  • Morocco
  • Algeria
  • Iraq
  • Jordan
  • Tunisia
  • Kuwait
  • Oman
  • Lebanon
  • Libya
  • Palestine
  • Sudan
  • Yemen, and others.

The term runs through 2030. So it covers several more Championships after this summer’s event.

Every match will be available live or on demand through TOD by beIN and beIN Connect, so the rights are staying tied to both traditional pay TV and streaming.

Does this change anything for you?

The immediate change is certainty, not a new product. No new Wimbledon-only pass was announced, and no special new pricing came with the renewal. What you got instead was a guarantee that Wimbledon stays in one place across MENA, with the same basic viewing routes already in place.

That is still valuable. If you already use beIN for football, Formula 1, or year-round tennis, you do not need to rebuild your setup. If you already stream sports through TOD, Wimbledon stays there too. If you prefer watching on beIN SPORTS channels, that route remains intact.

For 2026, beIN is also planning a fuller presentation. This is rather than just carrying the main feed. The new coverage will include match broadcasts. Plus you get expert analysis, daily highlights, and on-site reporting from London.

The brand will also dedicate five whole channels just for Wimbledon coverage. You’ll have access to commentary in Arabic, English, and French.
