Former Bravo’s Real Housewives of Potomac (RHOP) reality TV star Mia Thornton was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on November 19, 2025.
She faces felony theft charges for allegedly stealing $11,000 worth of furniture and a television from her recently vacated rented Atlanta condo.
Thornton, who left the show after Season 9 in April 2025, was detained without incident by airport police after an active warrant issued by the City of Atlanta surfaced.
Further, Body camera footage captured the 41-year-old’s emotional reaction, pleading for the return of the items as she was handcuffed and transported to Fulton County Jail.

According to the police incident report, the pair removed all furniture present, including a TV, a dining room table, seven dining room chairs, two accent tables, a sectional couch, a floor lamp, two patio chairs, a patio table, and a fireplace remote before their move-in, leaving the landlord stunned upon discovery.
The property manager provided receipts totalling $11,000 for the stolen goods, prompting an immediate larceny investigation on November 6, 2025, which led to the warrant.
Mia Thornton, who had relocated to Atlanta after RHOP, shared the space with McGriff amid her turbulent personal life.
She shared the space with McGriff after she separated from her husband, Gordon Thornton, in 2023, following a brief dating period with DJ Incognito. She then reconciled with Gordon by New Year’s Eve 2025.
Authorities flagged her at the airport during a routine check, tying her directly to the October 28, 2025, disappearance.
