In a statement on January 7, 2025, the cruise company hosting the event revealed that Aydin had been removed from the event and that it had deleted any promotional media featuring her.
“We want to address recent conversations about changes to the ‘Wives on the Waves” cruise lineup. This decision was not personal nor an act of cancelling anyone. At Fans at Sea, we believe in second chances and personal growth,” read the statement in part.

This controversy fuelled rumours that Bravo might be cutting ties with Aydin.
Jennifer’s response to the speculations
Jennifer Aydin has directly addressed the rumours on her social media platforms. In an Instagram post on October 30, 2025, she confirmed she was not invited to Bravocon 2025, a sign she might not be in the network’s immediate plans.
“A lot of you have been asking me if I’m still on the [show] or not. I can honestly say that nobody has told me anything. And they still haven’t told me anything. But I haven’t checked either. Life’s been pretty busy. And I would only think about it when people asked, which is why I would’ve liked to have known, so I can let you guys know. You know me, I like to keep it real,” she wrote.
“And all I’ve heard is what you’ve heard. You probably know more than I, actually. I’ve heard they are test-filming. And I wasn’t invited to BravoCon. So by the looks of it, I think it’s safe to say, probably not. And that’s OK. I’m good,” she added.
