The SEC Network is available on several platforms, including YouTube TV, where you can catch all the live sports events it offers. However, in October 2025, the channel was briefly removed from YouTube TV, with the blackout lasting for two weeks.

Current status of the SEC Network on YouTube TV
The SEC Network is currently available on YouTube TV. It is part of the Disney-owned sports channels on the streaming platform, alongside ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNews, ESPN Deportes, and the AAC Network.
The SECN was part of YouTube TV’s original channel lineup when the platform launched nationwide in 2017. It has been on the platform since then, except for a couple of blackouts, the most recent one occurring in October-November 2025.
Why was there an SECN blackout on YouTube TV?
On October 30, 2025, Disney removed the SEC Network and other Disney-owned channels from YouTube TV, leaving fans unable to access them.
The blackout resulted from a contract dispute between Disney and YouTube TV over carriage terms and distribution fees for Disney-owned channels.
The dispute lasted 14 days, during which the SECN was unavailable on YouTube TV. However, on November 14, 2025, the media companies reached a new deal, after which Disney restored SEC Network and other channels to YouTube TV.
The 2025 incident was not the first time the SECN had gone dark on YouTube TV. In December 2021, Disney removed the SEC Network and other channels from YouTube TV.
The 2021 blackout was also a result of a contract dispute over distribution fees between Disney and YouTube TV. However, it lasted only two days, after which the two companies reached a new distribution deal.
Is the SEC Network on YouTube TV’s base package?
The SEC Network is part of YouTube TV’s base package, alongside other Disney-owned channels like ESPN, ESPN2, and the ACC Network.
Therefore, to watch the channel, you will need to subscribe to at least the base plan, which costs $82.99 per month.
Unlike some pay-TV platforms, YouTube TV does not provide specific channel numbers. Therefore, to start watching the SEC Network, browse the YouTube TV EPG or search for the channel on the platform’s interface.
The SEC Network packaging on YouTube TV may, however, change in 2026. According to the YouTube Official Blog, YouTube TV will introduce skinny bundles, including a sports plan, in early 2026.
The streaming platform has not revealed the complete list of channels in the scheduled Sports plan. However, the SEC Network is likely to be included.
In which areas can you watch SECN on YouTube TV?
The SEC Network is available across the United States on YouTube TV. You can also watch the channel nationwide via various pay-TV providers or streaming platforms.
Regarding SECN’s international availability, YouTube TV is only available in the United States. Therefore, you cannot watch the channel outside the United States if using the streaming platform.
Likewise, many cable, satellite TV, and streaming services that offer the SEC network are only available within the United States.
However, you can access SEC Network content outside the United States, in over 135 countries across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa via ESPN’s affiliate partners.
