Richest Hee Haw cast members by net worth

CBS’s music comedy variety show, Hee Haw, is one of the most popular classic TV shows.

It aired for 21 seasons from 1961 to 1991 and was the staple of Saturday night television, especially during its early years.

Many of Hee Haw’s cast members gained fame due to the show’s popularity, with some going on to feature in other prominent roles.

Below is a detailed look at the net worth information of the show’s stars and their current whereabouts.

1. Buck Owens – S100 million

Buck Owens (real name Alvis Edgar Owens Jr.) was an American singer and songwriter, famous for being the frontman of the music band The Buckaroos. He was also one of the most notable Hee Haw cast members, who was also the show’s co-host.

Owens was one of the original cast members of Hee Haw. Before joining the show, he had a successful music career with the Buckaroos, but the popularity of Hee Haw helped propel him (and the band) into stardom.

Despite being one of the most popular stars of the show, Owens did not like it. Ultimately, he left in 1986 because he felt that the show ruined his credibility as a musician.

However, there were perks for being on the show, as Owens enjoyed massive financial success. According to Celebrity Net Worth, he was worth an estimated $100 million, making him the richest Hee Haw cast member.

Unfortunately, Owens passed away in 2006 at the age of 76, but his legacy as a musician and the host of Hee Haw lives on.

2. Marianne Gordon – $50 million

She continued her acting career after leaving the show, with credits in films such as Little Darlings, The Gamble, The Being, Coward of the County, Fire and Rain, The Giant of Thunder Mountain, and others.

Hee Haw indirectly contributed to Marianne Gordon’s net worth; she met her ex-husband, Kenny Rogers, after he attended the show as a guest. After the marriage ended, Rogers paid her $60 million in a divorce settlement.

Marianne Gordon is still alive as of 2025, but she has seemingly retired from acting and is no longer in the public limelight.
