Canada’s reality TV landscape gets a bold upgrade with Canada Shore. This is the first-ever Canadian edition of MTV’s iconic Shore franchise, a chaotic, drama-filled, sun-soaked show.
The TV show is set to premiere on Paramount+ in Canada, the U.S., the U.K., Ireland, and Australia, while hyping viewers with a new MTV Jersey Shore Channel on Pluto TV, where they will sample the first two episodes for free on January 22, 2026.
Filmed on the sun-drenched shores of Kelowna, British Columbia, during the summer of 2025.
The series brings together 10 unfiltered Canadian singles for a whirlwind of romance, one-stop partying, and rivalries.
Produced by Insight Productions, this northern twist on the global phenomenon promises heartfelt bonds, drama, and hookups amid the scenic backdrop of Okanagan Lake.
Canada Shore format and location
Canada Shore follows the proven “Shore” blueprint, born with the original Jersey Shore in 2019, with 10 larger-than-life roommates from across Canada living together in a shared house.
The ten roommates turn every day into a mix of beach parties, explosive conflicts, and flirtations.
According to the casting call that launched in Spring 2025, applicants had to be aged 19 to 26 and willing to embody the “Shore” spirit.
“Those who are selected will move in with other like-minded people to experience the most unforgettable, unfiltered summer of their lives. Interested Canadians have until April 30 to complete their submissions,” read the casting call in part.
Further, according to IMDb, Erin Brock, the showrunner and Co-Chief Content Officer of Insights Production, stated that they are looking for outrageous young people who want to party.
“ And Insight is on the hunt for the wildest, most outrageous young Canadians who want to party with their future chosen family this summer.”
Meet the Canada Shore cast
Paramount+ unveiled the cast, date, and trailer in an Instagram post on November 27, 2025.
Below are the ten cast members of Canada Shore, including bodybuilders, social media personalities, night owl partiers, and East Coast charmers.
1. Bauer
Hailing from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, and currently residing in Toronto, Canada, Bauer is a fitness-obsessed former athlete who swapped lacrosse for bodybuilding. For him, the gym is not a routine but his life.
2. Christropher
Based in Toronto, Ontario, Christopher is a Jamaican-rooted ice cream scooper turned party king, inspired by Kim Kardashian, and is chasing real connections beyond the tequila-fueled spotlight.
He joined the show to demonstrate to the world that there is more to him than a party persona.
3. Emmet
Hailing from Peterborough, Ontario, and currently residing in Vancouver, British Columbia, Emmet, a pipefitter by trade and bodybuilder by passion, joins the mix, bringing blue-collar grit to the glamour, as revealed in local coverage.
He is inspired by bodybuilding legend Dorian Yates and has a huge crush on Sofia Vergara.
4. Emmy
Emmy comes from Amherst, Nova Scotia, and currently resides in New Brunswick.
She is an aesthestician and a bubbly, fierce East Coast Pisces who loves her nails on point, flawless makeup, and wine.
Emmy is a reality TV binge-watcher and obsessed with pasta. She is looking forward to making lifelong friends on the show and to showing off her fun-loving, over-the-top personality.
5. Ethan
Ethan, an Italian, Irish, and German, who comes from Newmarket, Ontario, and currently resides in Toronto.
He is flirty with everyone and swears the ultimate cure for a hangover is another beer. He joined the show because he is ready to party hard and leave his mark.
6. Gizelle
Originally from Montego Bay, Jamaica, and currently residing in Mississauga, Gizelle brings island vibes, TikTok energy with up to 2.5 million views, and bold charisma to Canada Shore.
7. Isaiah
The Caribbean-Dutch, African thrill-seeker, originally from Calgary, Alberta, Isaiah loves skateboarding, which sums up his hobby, inspiration, and indulgence.
His first kiss was under a teacher’s desk, and his biggest ick is a girl who loves country music.
8. Keyaira
Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Keyaira is a drog groomer who is all about manifesting the luxe life she is meant for.
She juggles ambition, nightlife, and a love for pampering her pets, Lola and Rambo.
She is ready to make new connections, shake things up, and turn a few heads along the way on Canada Shore.
9. Lila
Lila is a party animal residing in Toronto, Ontario. She is best known for her one-liners, oversized hoops, and a loud laugh.
Friends describe her as ‘a walking good time’ who turns every moment into a headline.
10. Ryleigh
Originally from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Ryleigh is a blend of small-town charm and big city vibes. She loves tequila and is a marketing girly with a soft heart.
She brings the Scotian energy to the show, known for her quick wit, booty shaking, zero tolerance for bullshit, and pong skills.
