Jane had just come back from a trip to Ireland with her mother when Sean, her co-worker at the time, revealed that his cousin from Ireland was visiting and invited her to lunch to meet him.

Jane enthusiastically accepted the lunch offer, even telling her mother she would be having lunch with her future husband. However, Sean Treacy’s cousin never showed up, so the lunch was just the two co-workers.

They felt a connection during their serendipitous lunch date, so they began dating. Four months later, they were engaged.

Over the years, Jane and Sean Treacy have paid homage to their Irish connection, including handing out Irish and American flags at their wedding, celebrating their relationship on St. Patrick’s Day, and visiting Ireland (where most of Sean’s family lives) several times.

The couple has been married for over 30 years

Jane and Sean Treacy got married on November 11, 1989, with Sean’s cousin, who never made it to the launch date, as the best man. The couple has been together since then, and recently celebrated their 36th anniversary.

On several occasions, Jane has taken to social media to wish her husband a happy anniversary, often referring to him as her “soulmate” or “best friend.”

They have two children together, daughters Cara and Deirdre Treacy.

At 18, Cara moved to New York to pursue a professional ballet career, but fell in love with musical theatre and acting, and has since transitioned to a career in acting.

Jane and Sean Treacy’s second daughter, Deirdre, was born on August 1, 2001. Like her sister, Deirdre got into show business from a young age, appearing alongside her mother on QVC and later discovering a passion for musical theatre.

Cara and Deirdre Treacy are also huge Disney fans, and they run social media platforms under the name Happiest Sisters on Earth, where they document their adventures and love for Disney.

Sean Treacy’s real estate business and career

Jane Treacy’s husband worked for QVC for 16 years, attaining the position of vice president. However, in 2003, he left QVC and soon after received his real estate license.

Treacy began working as a real estate agent for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach Realtors, where he handled the sale, leasing, and management of real estate properties.

He worked for the company for over 20 years before joining Realty One Group Advocates in 2024.

In addition to working as a realtor, Sean Treacy also started his own real estate business, Treacy Custom Homes LLC, after leaving QVC. Through the company, he bought investment properties and oversaw the development of single-family homes in Pennsylvania.
