How to access all NFL games on NFL+

NFL+ is one of the top options you have for watching NFL games if you are an NFL fan. The streaming season offers access to preseason, regular season, and postseason games, including both local and out-of-market games.

But, is it possible to watch all the NFL games on NFL+? Below is a detailed look at all the games available on thre platform and how to access them.

Subscribing to the NFL+

NFL+ is a subscription-based streaming service. Therefore, to watch NFL games on the platform, you need an active subscription.

Two NFL+ subscription options are available:

  • The NFL+ base plan, which costs $6.99 per month or $29.99 per year.
  • NFL+ Premium, which costs $14.99 per month or $59.99 per year.

To subscribe to the NFL+:

  • Download the NFL app or go to nfl.com/plus
  • Create an account (or log into your existing account if you have one).
  • Choose a subscription plan and complete the payment to start watching games

Note: NFL+ is only available in the United States.

What games can you watch on NFL+

You can watch several games on the platform, including:

  • Live local regular season and postseason games.
  • Primetime regular season and postseason games, including Monday Night Football (MNF), Thursday Night Football (TNF), Sunday Night Football (SNF), and select Saturday games.
  • The NFL Network, with 8 live events (2025 season).

You can also get live audio coverage for every NFL game on NFL+. Additionally, if you purchase the Premium subscription, you can receive full match replays plus every touchdown from every game (including Sunday afternoon games) with the NFL Redzone.

While NFL+ offers comprehensive coverage, you cannot watch all the games on the platform due to licensing restrictions. For example, out-of-market Sunday afternoon games are only available via the Sunday Ticket, which is exclusive to YouTube TV and YouTube.

Device limitations for NFL+ games

In addition to some games being unavailable, the streaming platform also restricts which devices you can use to watch certain games.

For example, live local and primetime games are only available on mobile devices (phone or tablet).

The reason for the device restriction is the NFL’s broadcast rights deals with other networks, which grant them exclusive rights for live broadcasts on larger screens. For example, NBC holds the rights to Sunday Night Football, ESPN to MNF, and Prime Video to TNF.

Therefore, while these games are available to watch on the platform, they are not accessible on larger screens like Smart TVs and other connected devices to avoid cannibalizing viewership for networks with exclusive rights.

However, some NFL games, such as those on NFL Network, are available on all supported NFL+ devices.

How to watch all NFL games

An NFL+ subscription is not enough to watch all NFL games. Therefore, if you want to catch every game, you will need to supplement your subscription with other services.

For example, you will need to purchase the NFL Sunday Ticket to get access to all out-of-market Sunday afternoon games.

You need to pair your NFL+ subscription with another service, such as the NFL Sunday Ticket.

You can purchase the ticket as a stand-alone service. Alternatively, you can get it as an add-on on YouTube TV, giving you access to more local and primetime games that NFL+ may not cover.

If you are outside the U.S., where NFL+ is not available, you can watch all NFL games via NFL Game Pass on DAZN worldwide (except the U.S. and China).
