All new shows coming to MeTV in 2026

MeTV is adding several new shows to its classic TV lineup for 2026. The network will introduce newly acquired series and programming blocks that have not been part of its regular schedule before.

The changes include adding Everybody Loves Raymond, launching a new themed block called Aaron Spelling Sundays, and bringing in several classic series to weekend and weekday time slots.

MeTV’s mission is to air classic TV shows from many decades of American television. The network’s schedule usually features popular comedies, dramas, variety shows, and specials from the 1950s to the 1980s, and sometimes the 1990s.

The 2026 lineup will expand to include shows from the late 1990s and early 2000s. These are not new productions, but newly acquired or scheduled shows that help MeTV reach more viewers.

1. Everybody Loves Raymond

Everybody Loves Raymond was created by Phil Rosenthal and stars Ray Romano, Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Doris Roberts, and Peter Boyle. The show aired on CBS for nine seasons and won 15 Primetime Emmy Awards.

It follows the daily life and funny family moments of sportswriter Raymond Barone and his extended family on Long Island.

MeTV has confirmed that Everybody Loves Raymond will join its primetime lineup, with back-to-back episodes on weeknights and more showings on Sunday evenings. However, some local stations started airing it in late 2025, and it will continue through 2026 as part of the new schedule.

2. Aaron Spelling Sundays

MeTV will launch a new programming block called Aaron Spelling Sundays.

This block celebrates Aaron Spelling, one of TV’s most prolific producers, and features four of his shows:

3. Charlie’s Angels

Charlie’s Angels is one of the most culturally influential television series of the 1970s and a cornerstone of Aaron Spelling’s legacy. It followed three female private investigators working for the unseen Charlie Townsend, who handled high-risk cases involving crime, espionage, and organized syndicates.

When it first aired, Charlie’s Angels was unique for putting women in lead action roles, which was rare on TV at the time. The show was a top-rated hit and helped make Spelling Television a major force in late-1970s TV.

Adding Charlie’s Angels to Aaron Spelling Sundays is a smart move for MeTV. The series appeals to both older viewers who remember the original and younger fans who know the franchise from movies and reboots.

4. Hart to Hart

Hart to Hart aired on ABC from 1979 to 1984 and offered a distinctive blend of mystery, romance, and light comedy. The TV show starred Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers as Jonathan and Jennifer Hart, a wealthy, globe-trotting married couple who were routinely drawn into murder investigations and criminal conspiracies.

Unlike most police shows, Hart to Hart focused on the chemistry between its main characters and offered a sense of escapism.

The Harts’ marriage was rare for crime dramas at the time and became a big part of the show’s charm. The series lasted five seasons and was later followed by eight reunion movies from 1991 to 1996.

For MeTV, Hart to Hart adds strength to the Sunday afternoon drama-mystery lineup in the Aaron Spelling block. Its style fits what MeTV viewers enjoy and offers a more dialogue-focused contrast to Charlie’s Angels.

5. Fantasy Island

Fantasy Island is one of Aaron Spelling’s most unique shows. It takes place at a mysterious tropical resort where guests pay to have their deepest wishes come true.

Ricardo Montalbán played the mysterious Mr. Roarke, with Hervé Villechaize as his assistant, Tattoo. Each episode had different guest stars and its own story, making Fantasy Island great for syndication and reruns.

Adding Fantasy Island to Aaron Spelling Sundays brings more variety to the lineup. The show mixes drama, fantasy, and anthology stories, setting it apart from the crime and romance themes of Hart to Hart and Charlie’s Angels.

6. The Love Boat

The Love Boat aired on ABC from 1977 to 1986 and remains one of the most recognizable series in television history. Set aboard the cruise ship Pacific Princess, the show featured a rotating cast of guest stars telling romantic and comedic stories about passengers and crew. The core cast included Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell, Ted Lange, Fred Grandy, and Lauren Tewes (later Jill Whelan).

Because of its anthology format, The Love Boat attracted many big-name guest stars and became a cultural icon in the late 1970s and 1980s. At its peak, it was one of the top-rated shows in the U.S. and was known for its light, family-friendly stories.

The Love Boat will serve as the capstone program of Aaron Spelling Sundays on MeTV. It will close out the four-hour block with upbeat, accessible storytelling.

Its broad appeal makes it particularly effective for Sunday afternoon audiences, and its episodic format allows viewers to tune in at any point without prior context.

7. Hawaii Five-O (Original series 1968–1980)

Hawaii Five-O is a classic police drama set in Hawaii, famous for its theme music and ensemble cast. The original series ran from 1968 to 1980 and became one of the longest-lasting American dramas of its time.

By adding Hawaii Five-O, MeTV brings more drama to its schedule, balancing out its usual focus on comedies and lighter shows.

Hawaii Five-O will start airing on MeTV as part of schedule changes rolling out from late December 2025 into early 2026. It will have a new weekday morning time slot.

What this means for MeTV

These additions will mark MeTV’s biggest refresh in years, leaning into glamorous, escapist dramas that defined an era. That also means fans will say goodbye to shows like Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, and others that are moving or leaving.

The new lineup promises exciting weekends and fun weekdays. Tune in starting in late December 2025 to enjoy classic TV at its best.
