List of current Fox 2 Detroit anchors (updated 2026)

Fox 2 Detroit (WJBK) features a large roster of anchors who present local news, sports, weather, and other live programs across Metro Detroit and Southeast Michigan. 

The current lineup includes popular figures such as Roop Raj, Erica Francis, Amy Andrews, and several other on-air personalities. 

Below, we have compiled the complete list of the current Fox 2 anchors, their on-air roles, and other interesting facts about them. 

1. Roop Raj

Roop Raj is the evening anchor for Fox 2 Detroit and the host of The Pulse, a nightly political show. He joined the station in 2009 as a weekend morning anchor and reporter, before rising the ranks to become a morning anchor/live reporter, and, later, anchoring the evening newscast. 

Raj previously co-anchored the evening news alongside former FOX 2 Detroit anchor Taryn Asher, who was fired in 2025. 

Before joining Fox 2, Raj worked in various other local stations, including WDSU TV, Mid-Michigan NOW (NBC 25, FOX 66, and CW46), WLAJ-TV, and WLNS-TV. 

2. Amy Lange

Amy Lange is a WJBK-TV journalist who anchors the “Live at 11” newscast, in addition to handling reporting duties for 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. newscasts. She is one of the longest-serving Fox 2 Detroit anchors, having been with the station since 1998. 

Lange has won multiple awards during her tenure at Fox 2, including Emmy Awards for anchoring, investigative reporting, and covering major stories such as the Haiti earthquakes. 

Before joining Fox 2, Lange worked as an anchor and reporter at WEYI-TV in Flint, Michigan. Before that, she was a promotions and news producer for WTVJ in Miami, Florida. 

3. Brandon Hudson

Brandon Hudson is a Fox 2 Detroit journalist who co-anchors the 11 a.m. newscast and serves as a reporter for the 5 and 6 p.m. newscasts. He has been with the station since 2021, having previously worked for NBCUniversal Media, LLC as a TV reporter. 

Before NBCUniversal, Hudson worked for several local stations, including WPXI-TV and FOX 44 ABC 22 as a reporter and fill-in sports anchor. He was also a reporter and fill-in anchor for WDHN and a sideline reporter for WOOF FM, both in Dothan, Alabama.

4. Charlie Langton

Charlie Langton is a journalist who anchors the 4 p.m. weekday newscast on Fox 2 Detroit. He also works as a legal analyst for the station and provides legal reporting for WWJ Newsradio 950. 

Langton began his broadcasting career as a radio host for a political-legal talk show at WYUR-AM 1310. He then moved to WXYT-AM before joining Fox 2 News, where he initially worked as a legal analyst. 

Besides broadcasting, Charlie Langton is also an attorney with over 25 years of experience practicing law and a private legal practice. 

5. Hilary Golston

Hilary Golston is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who co-anchors the weekend evening news for Fox 2. She also serves as a reporter for the station’s evening newscasts. 

Golston has been with Fox 2 since 2017. Before that, she worked as a reporter and anchor at WKYC-TV in Cleveland, weekend anchor at WVTM 13 in Alabama, and reporter, producer, and fill-in anchor for WFRV and WJMN TV stations in Wisconsin. 

Hilary Golston is a seven-time Emmy Award winner, including a 2024 Michigan Emmy for Best Daily News Reports. She also won an Associated Press award in 2023 for best reporter/anchor in Michigan. 

6. Dave Spencer

Dave Spencer is another top Fox 2 Detroit anchor on the 2026 roster. He co-anchors the weekend newscast and serves as a reporter for the 10 and 11 p.m. newscasts. 

Spencer, a graduate of Michigan State University, began his broadcasting career on TV in Lansing. He then spent some time working in Lexington, Kentucky. 

After Lexington, Spencer moved to WXMI (Fox 17), where he spent three years as a reporter and weekend news anchor before joining WJBK.

7. Jamie Sherrod

Jamie Sherrod is an American broadcaster who anchors the weekend morning newscasts for Fox 2 Detroit. She also serves as a reporter and host of the station’s streaming show, Fox 2 Detroit Live. 

A Detroit native, Sherrod began her broadcasting career as a reporter, producer, and anchor at a local station in Alpena, Northern Michigan. She then spent four years in the Flint/Saginaw market, where she worked as an anchor and traffic reporter. 

Sherrod then moved to West Michigan, where she worked as a reporter and anchor at Fox 17, her last stop before joining Fox 2 Detroit. 

8. Amy Andrews

Amy Andrews is one of the most prominent female news anchors on Fox 2 Detroit. She co-anchors Fox News Morning and is also the creator and host of the Amy’s Angels segment, which highlights the work of inspiring individuals making a positive impact in local communities.  

Andrews joined Fox 2 Detroit in 2011 from WNEM TV5 in the Bay City area, where she worked as an anchor and reporter. Before that, she had served as a reporter and anchor at KSBY TV in California and as a news anchor at KLBC TV2 in Laughlin, Nevada.

9. Deena Centofanti

Deena Centofanti is one of the most prominent anchors and reporters for Fox 2 News Detroit. She anchors the station’s morning lifestyle and news show, Good Day Detroit, and serves as a reporter, primarily covering health. 

Centofanti began her broadcasting career as an assistant at WSYX (Channel 6) in Columbus, Ohio. She then worked her way up to on-air roles before joining Fox 2 Detroit in 1997 and has been with the station since.

Deena Centofanti is married to Keith Stironek, the vice president of creative services and programming at Fox 2 (WJBK-TV). She met him while working at WSYX, where he served as a production director. 

10. Ryan Ermanni

Ryan Ermanni is a news anchor and reporter for Fox 2 Detroit, who co-anchors Good Day Detroit. He also hosts an afternoon radio show on WJR 760 AM. 

Ermanii joined Fox 2 in 1999 as an intern. He then worked at 9&10 News in Cadillac, Michigan, and at FOX36 Toledo before returning to Fox 2 in 2003 as a sports reporter. 

He then spent over a decade in the sports department at Fox 2 Detroit before moving to the morning news in 2016. 

11. Erica Francis

Erica Francis is a Fox 2 News anchor who presents the 4 and 5 a.m. newscasts, in addition to serving as a reporter for Fox 2 News Mornings. She joined Fox 2 Detroit in 2022 from WKRN in Nashville, where she worked as a news anchor. 

Francis has also worked for several local stations in Michigan, including Fox 17, HOMTV 21, and News Central 34 (a university station). Additionally, she also briefly interned at Fox 2 Detroit in 2013. 

12. Josh Landon

Josh Landon is an Emmy Award-winning journalist who co-anchors the early morning news on Fox 2. He also serves as a reporter for Fox 2 News Mornings. 

A Detroit native, Landon began his career as a newsroom assistant at WLN in Lansing, Michigan, before rising to become a reporter.

He then worked for several other stations, including WDIV-TV (Detroit), Waterman Broadcasting (Florida), NBC 6 South Florida, ABC 8 News (Virginia), and WFJT CBS 58 (Wisconsin), before joining Fox 2 in 2015. 

13. Maurielle Lue

Maurielle Lue is another prominent on-air personality for Fox 2 News. She serves as an anchor for the Fox 2 News morning news, in addition to hosting Good Day Detroit, the station’s weekday morning talk show. 

Lue, who got her first on-air gig at 15, has been with Fox 2 Detroit for nearly 15 years, having joined the station from WEWS-TV, an ABC affiliate in Cleveland. She has also previously worked for WVVA, an NBC station in West Virginia.  

14. Jay Towers

Jay Towers is a TV and radio personality at Fox 2 Detroit. He anchors the weekday morning news for the Fox 2 News Mornings team and hosts Jay Towers in the Morning, a daily radio show on 100.3 WNIC. 

Towers began his career as a radio DJ, with his first broadcast gig at WJRZ in New Jersey at the age of 14. He then went on to work for other radio stations, including WAYV in Atlantic City, WMAX in Grand Rapids, and WDRQ 93.1 in Detroit. 

He joined Fox 2 Detroit in 2004, following an impromptu live reporting session. He has been with the station since then, and has worked in various capacities, including a feature reporter and weekend anchor, before being promoted to the current morning anchor role. 

15. Dan Miller

Dan Miller is a prominent sportscaster who serves as the sports director for Fox 2 (WJBK). He is also the station’s main sports anchor, host of the weekly Sportsworks show, and is the radio play-by-play announcer for the NFL’s Detroit Lions. 

Miller began his broadcasting career as a radio show host before transitioning to TV, where his first job was hosting the Washington Redskins pre-game show at WTTG. He later worked for WJLA-TV as a sports anchor and NFL on Fox as a play-by-play announcer. 

Dan Miller, a Washington, D.C., native, joined Fox 2 Detroit in 1997 as a sports director and has held that role since. 

16. Woody Woodriffe

Woody Woodriffe is an American sportscaster who anchors sports news for Fox 2 News Detroit. He also serves as a sports reporter covering various Detroit sports, in addition to being a regular host for The Sports Office, Fox 2’s weeknight sports show. 

Woodriffe, who is a University of Miami graduate, joined Fox 2 Detroit from WFOR-TV in Miami, where he worked as an anchor. He also balanced his on-air role with behind-the-scenes duties as a photographer and editor.
